In addition to the production of catalog products, Xeda Italia is increasing the production activity in private labels and industrial supplies of microbiological products formulated ad hoc, according to customer needs.
In recent years the research and development department has focused on the development of terpenic plant extracts contained in essential oils, in particular mint oil, thymol, geraniol and eugenol. These are produced in the French plant and are listed in Annex I (authorised active substance) at Community level. We are studying different formulations with insecticidal, fungicidal and bactericidal activity that allow to guarantee effectiveness and environmental sustainability. Great attention has also been paid to the formulation with the development of a patented process able to guarantee persistence while limiting photolability and phytotoxicity.
Today Xeda Italia can offer a wide range of solutions to meet the increasingly demanding strategies of integrated control and biological control; thanks to a complete catalog of natural plant protection products, products based on microorganisms, special and invigorating products.
The company offers products and also a technical consulting service able to define ad hoc strategies with agronomists and therefore concrete solutions, these are the result of the know-how that Xeda Italia has acquired over the years by testing its products at authorized test centres and in the field.
